Introducing the 2019 Ford Ranger

A highlight of January’s Detroit Auto Show, the upcoming Ford Ranger has been generating excitement in the automotive industry ever since the iconic automaker announced its return to the North American market early next year. Although a global version of the Ranger is currently available in other areas of the world, 2011 marked the last time buyers could purchase this mid-size pickup in the U.S.

Until 2019 that is! After such a long wait, fans have a lot to look forward to, thanks to a host of upgraded performance and handling features. Ford engineers completely retooled the Ranger for a new generation, building the perfect companion for work and play. Just like its namesake, the Ranger is rugged, capable and ready for adventure.

Fun Sized

Although there’s plenty of cabin space and the truck bed stretches an impressive 60-72 inches depending on the model, the Ford Ranger is conveniently compact, a welcome addition to Ford’s lineup for anyone who needs a hard working truck that doesn't take up a ton of space. Sometimes bigger isn’t better.

On or Off Road Capabilities

With available 4x4 ,Trail Control and a Terrain Management System, the 2019 Ford Ranger handles dirt, mud and other tricky surfaces like a dream, whether it’s the weather that’s interfering with your daily drive or you decide to take things off road for the fun of it. And, as far as power is concerned, the 2.3L EcoBoost engine has you covered, equipped with a stock turbo and direct gasoline injection. Buyers can also rest assured, the Ranger has been put through the same series of rigorous testing the other F-Series models go through to meet the demanding standards of the Built Ford Tough logo.

The Choice Is Yours

Just like its larger cousin the F-150, the Ford Ranger is available in a variety of trim packages so you can choose the one that best fits your style. From the XL to the XLT to the Lariat, each option features unique details both functional and aesthetic. There’s no one size fits all approach when it comes to Ford.

While you’ll have to wait until 2019 to test drive the all new Ranger, more details are sure to be released as this highly anticipated vehicle hits production. Keep an eye out for more information. We’ll be sure to let you know when we expect the Ranger to hit our lot as soon as possible!
