Ford Partners with FIRST Robotics to Inspire Youth

For more than 30 years Ford has been inspiring youth to be curious, seek knowledge, and solve new problems. It all stems from Henry Ford’s original desire to make dreams of a better world come true. Ford has made it their mission to inspire the next generation of inventors and innovators, and that’s why they’re partnered with FIRST robotics.

This organization is all about giving young people interested in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math a place where they can come together and learn with the help of experienced role models. Over 500 Ford employees volunteer as mentors with FIRST robotics.

Noah Rau who works with supplies and technological assistance at Ford holds this program close to his heart. “It’s particularly important to me, because I am actually a product of the program I was a student on the FIRST robotics team. I know how much the program can do for someone.”

This program is a fantastic way to reward innovative students, and it gives those students a chance to change lives.
