Dealer Notes
2019 Ford Explorer Sport: The High-Performance Family Hauler For those who need a three-row SUV but aren't willing to give up the thrill of the drive, the 2019 Ford Explorer Sport is the ultimate solution. This isn't your average family cruiser; the Sport trim was engineered for drivers who crave power. Beneath the hood lies the formidable 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine, pumping out a massive 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a sport-tuned suspension and standard Intelligent 4WD with Terrain Management, this Explorer delivers a level of acceleration and cornering confidence that most SUVs in its class simply can't match. The exterior of the 2019 Sport makes its intentions clear with an aggressive, blacked-out aesthetic. Featuring a black high-gloss grille, darkened headlamp treatment, and 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets, it trades the standard Explorerâs chrome for a look that is strictly "business." Itâs the perfect blend of stealth and muscle, topped off with quad chrome exhaust tips that provide a satisfying growl when you step on the gas. Inside, the cabin is a premium environment designed for long-haul comfort. Youâll find perforated leather-trimmed seats with unique red accent stitching, heated and cooled front seats, and a heated steering wheel to keep you comfortable in any season. Tech is handled by the intuitive SYNC® 3 system, featuring a crisp touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoTM integration. With the Sony® Premium Audio System and a spacious third row, the 2019 Explorer Sport ensures that every passengerâ"from the driver to the kids in the backâ"enjoys a first-class experience..

Come on ford
By Lydia | on Tuesday, September 22, 2020
My biggest complaint is how hard it is to set up bluetooth devices. There isn't just 1 button. Theres a series of 4 buttons you need to get working prior to driving to hopefully get bluetooth. Just such a headache that the suv lost major points in my book for that. The headrests are those awful ones that push your head forward so they kill my neck on long drives. The fold down seats can hold a lot of weight which has been nice. However, the backs of the seats are a thin particle board that will break under enough weight. Here I was worried that the bar that holds the seats would break first.… - 5.0
Built for those of tall stature
By Dave | on Wednesday, February 03, 2021
Im 6'9, having owned full size trucks from the big 3, these gen5 Explorers are unequivocally the best fitting for my size. However, high window sills are a bit high for most shorter folks Ive talked to. In 100k miles, Ive only replaced rear brakes and front struts and only the right one had failed at that. Rear brakes are just about due. Best car Ive ever owned.… - 5.0
Love for Mable
By Humnbrd23 | on Saturday, May 29, 2021
Everything I could want in a vehicle. Mable (her name) has yet to fail. Drivability is excelent. Long trips are no issue in the comfort of Mable. There is room for everyone and thier luggage. She has double moon roofs to watch the stars at night or feel the sunshine in the morning. Mable also has towing capacity, but I have never needed it. Thank you to the couple that traded her in with only 64000 miles.…
