In a tribute to its name, the Ford F-150 Raptor will take to the skies at this year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The truck’s design concept is based on the legendary F-22 fighter jet.
The construction of the truck comes as a continuation of Ford’s practice of donating a custom-modified vehicle to the air show. The vehicles always come designed with aviation in mind. This typically comes in the form of a Mustang, but the F-22 Ford F-150 Raptor is sure to serve as an excellent alteration from the norm.
In addition to its new looks, the F-150 Raptor features an upgraded horsepower, with the truck running at 545 hp. The custom truck is set to be auctioned off at the show, with the proceeds going to enabling future generations to pursue their aviation goals.
