It’s been an open secret for a while now that Ford has been working on an all-new hands-free driver-assist system known as BlueCruise. What does come as a bit of a surprise, however, is seeing this equipment on a Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup.

Recently, a Ford F-250 Super Duty Platinum SuperCrew pickup equipped with an array of sensors and cameras was spied near Ford’s Dearborn Development Center. This equipment includes radar sensors placed at all four corners of the truck. They are somewhat integrated, matching the color of the front and rear bumpers.

In addition to those sensors, cameras placed just above the tailgate and just below the rear-view mirror are also visible. A Ford F-350 Platinum dually was also seen carrying the same equipment.

These recent discoveries seemingly indicate that Ford is likely to offer BlueCruise on at least one of the Super Duty’s higher trim levels, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, the Blue Oval brand did go on record that the hands-free driving-assist technology would be available on additional vehicles after it launches on the all-new F-150 and Mach-E.
