Along with many automotive manufacturers, Ford is bringing a wide range of concept vehicles to the yearly SEMA show on November 2-5 to show off their models’ aftermarket customizability and value. A recent Ford press release stated that no more than 40 modified vehicles will be shown, but for this year’s event the highlight seems to be on the brand-new 2022 Maverick compact pickup truck and the sleek Mustang Mach-E electric crossover.

The set of customized new Mavericks include one from Air Design USA, debuting the company's fender flares, door moldings, and more. Based on the Maverick Lariat FX4, the Air Design USA model comes with an efficient cat-back exhaust system, 1.5-inch lift kit, and 18-inch wheels bolstered with all-terrain rubber tires.

Additional Maverick designs include a lifeguard-themed pickup made as part of the after-school program at Oxnard (California) Union High School built in collaboration with the local police department. Tucci Hot Rods will also display a Maverick street truck, with 3D-printed fender flares, and a 3D-printed hood and front lip.

Also to be displayed at Sema 2021, Ford’s electric vehicle fleet members include a Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT concept. This edition uses the legendary Shelby name for the electric Mustang edition. It comes fitted with a Shelby American carbon-fiber body kit, Shelby-tuned Ford MagneRide dampers, and 20-inch one-piece forged monoblock wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires.

The wide range of Mach-E concepts also include the Tjin Edition Mustang Mach-E California Route One. This vehicle is designed with head-turning bright orange paint, unique air suspension, and 22-inch Vossen ML-R1 wheels. There’s also the Mach-E GT created for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. It will be shown at the 2022 Bonneville Speed Week  and auctioned off to support the foundation in 2023.

All of these builds are being shown to the public for the first time at SEMA, but Ford will also show the Expedition Timberline Off-Grid concept that was first hinted at for Overland Expo East in Arlington, Virginia, earlier this season.
