The Ford Mustang is celebrating its golden jubilee. Over the past 60 years, the car has been a mainstay on highways and racetracks all over the world, gaining a reputation for thrills and unmatched performance. The electric Mustang Mach-E, which is also available globally and offers instantaneous torque and zero emissions, has been creating a name for itself as well. The Mustang is currently sold in 85 markets across six continents.

This year is special not only because of the car’s anniversary, but because of the global launch of the all-new seventh-generation Mustang. The next chapter in Mustang history is also being written at Charlotte Motor Speedway, with the amazing Mustang Experience Center fan event.

At this event, owners and fans will be able to test out exclusive Mustang ownership experiences, plus get a first look at the limited edition Mustang 60th Anniversary Appearance Package.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet Ford Performance race drivers, get up close and personal with Mustang cars like the Mach-E 1400, and view racing Mustangs in person. Experiences like ride-alongs in Mustang vehicles on Charlotte's renowned Roval and drift courses offer a close-up view of the car's exceptional performance. The Pony Personalization Corner, with exhibits from RTR and other organizations, will give fans more details about Mustang aftermarket accessories.

The Mustang Experience Center will have a Ford Heritage Gallery celebrating 60 years of Mustang history, a retail store selling Mustang merchandise, an aftermarket parts shop, and conference space for business gatherings. Weddings can even be held at the Mustang Experience Center, an option inspired by the event’s mission is to create amazing experiences, just like the car it honors.

The Mustang Experience Center is expected to open next year. Expanding on the Dark Horse Track Attack program, Ford Performance Racing School has even created a brand-new program for the Mustang EcoBoost and GT, dubbed Mustang Unleashed. This program is one of several at Ford; similar courses are offered at the F-150 and Ranger Raptor Assault School, as well as the Bronco Off-Roadeo, which recently started welcoming non-Bronco-owners.

“Mustang has always been about more than just the car; it’s the experiences that come with it, from road trips to track days to cars & coffee. Mustang Experience Center is poised to become a special gathering place for the Mustang community, weaving the spirit of the car and Charlotte Motor Speedway together to create new memories,” said Matt Simpson, Ford Enthusiast Vehicles general manager.
