Many people enjoy a cup of coffee on their commute to work, but few would expect the same source of their favorite cup of Joe to also be the same material parts of their car are composed of. Ford and McDonald’s both have made commitments to better the environment, and to maximize their efforts, they began thinking outside of the box and discovered how to turn coffee beans into a cup of coffee and build car parts with coffee bean waste.

Ford has developed a new pickup truck. It’s smaller than any they’ve ever built, but it will be available to everyone. It’s a pickup truck emoji. With billions of emojis sent everyday, and nearly every mode of transportation from cars to boats to ski lifts, truck fans started to notice an unfortunate omission. There was no pickup emoji.

Ford decided it was time to change that and is celebrating World Emoji Day with the debut of the pickup truck emoji.
