The Ford Motor Company has been successful in auto racing since the sport’s earliest inception, but this is especially true when it comes to NASCAR, America’s longest-running motorsports league.

Since the manufacturer’s first NASCAR Cup Series Championship was brought home by Buck Baker  in 1956, a Ford race car has won NASCAR’s most prestigious award 13 times. That number extends to 22 when you consider other Ford-affiliated brands throughout history such as Mercury and Lincoln.

With the official reveal of both the all-new 2021 Ford F-150 and the incredible 2021 Ford Bronco family, it’s clear that the Ford Motor Company has been focusing on designing off-road ready technology for the modern age.

The Ford Motor Company has recently announced that the 2019 model and 2020 model Ford Rangers will now be available with three unique accessory packages built by Ford Performance. These three packages are designed to offer even more off-road capability, adventure-readiness, and personal customization for fans of Ford’s latest line of midsize pickup trucks.

As if the Ford GT supercar couldn’t get any better, the Ford Performance team recently announced the latest set of upgrades for the 2020 model. Thanks to Ford’s continuous technological innovation, the 2020 GT will see increased horsepower, and it will be released in two unique appearance packages: Liquid Carbon and a restyled Gulf Racing heritage livery edition that pays homage to Ford’s 1969 Le Mans win.

Ford acquired the Michigan Central Station and announced its intention to make it the centerpiece of a new mobility innovation district in Corktown in June of 2018. A year later they launched the City:One Michigan Central Station Challenge in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s mobility initiative, PlanetM. The challenge sparked such wide-spread interest, that they heard from over 2,000 local Detroit residents and received more than 164 unique proposals.

Ford’s actions have been rewarded as they earned a spot on CDP’s Climate ‘A-List’ for the first time this year. The CDP, a global environmental impact nonprofit, is known for its gold standard for corporate environmental transparency and scoring process. 34 other American companies also scored A-ratings by the CDP in addition to Ford for 2020.
