In a recent press release, Ford announced its upcoming 2022 F-150 Lightning, which is the blue oval company’s first fully electric model of the top-selling pickup truck. The news was focused on the electric pickup's "Mega Power Frunk” and the vast storage space therein. Ford stated it relied on current customers and fleet owners to assist with the design of the Lightning's frunk, and the result is a massive space with numerous power sources and plenty of room for two golf bags.

Along with many automotive manufacturers, Ford is bringing a wide range of concept vehicles to the yearly SEMA show on November 2-5 to show off their models’ aftermarket customizability and value. A recent Ford press release stated that no more than 40 modified vehicles will be shown, but for this year’s event the highlight seems to be on the brand-new 2022 Maverick compact pickup truck and the sleek Mustang Mach-E electric crossover.

This Monday, Ford announced a plan to increase the electrification of their sales in Europe. Ford’s vehicle transmission facility at Halewood on Meyerside will be turned into an electric power unit facility, and Ford intends to invest up to £230 million in transforming the site.

After being announced in June of this year, the 2022 Ford Maverick generated quite a bit of buzz. With a name resurrected from a compact car of the seventies and a size and purpose completely different from what Ford is known for, this truck was always going to be a head turner. Since its release at the very end of September, the Maverick is seeing good reviews begin to roll in as drivers are trying it out for the first time.

The new Ford Pro all-electric police pilot vehicle is based on the excellent 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV, and it just became the first all-electric automobile to pass Michigan State Police testing. The motor company announced last Friday that rigorous testing included top speed, high-speed pursuit, acceleration, braking, and emergency response handling. 

Earlier this month, as part of Ford’s commitment to strengthen local communities across the U.S., the Blue Oval brand announced that they were joining forces with food-providing nonprofits Health in the Hood and World Central Kitchen in order to deliver 5,000 healthy, fresh, pre-prepared meals to needy families throughout Miami-Dade County.

Ford-backed Argo AI, a self-driving technology company, has recently been making massive strides in the development of commercial autonomous vehicles in recent years. Earlier this week, Argo AI announced that they have developed an all-new Lidar sensor, which they believe could seriously change the game.

The Ford Escape was recently redesigned from the ground up, and recent reports show that that decision was certainly for the better. With a compact SUV that’s this perfect, it’s hard to imagine it getting any better, but that’s exactly what Ford is going for with the all-new 2021 model.

One of this year’s newest features includes the addition of four new exterior paint colors, including Antimatter Blue Metallic, Bronze Fire Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, and now, Iconic Silver Metallic.

Hot off the wheels of the new Ford Ranger Black, which has recently been revealed in Brazil, Ford has recently introduced two new limited edition Ranger models in Europe. They are known as the Ford Ranger Stormtrak and Ford Ranger Wolftrak, respectively.
