F-150 Lightning Deliveries Now Stretch Across Every U.S. State

 

Ford has managed to accomplish yet another amazing automotive feat. In only two months, the company has successfully delivered F-150 Lightning trucks to drivers across the 50 U.S. states, all the way from the shores of the Kenai River in Alaska to downtown Houston and even Hawaii.

Texas – the pickup truck capital of America – and California – the country’s electric vehicle heartland – lead the way with the highest number of F-150 Lightning deliveries through late July.

Ford Celebrates Anniversary with Historical Database

June 16th of this year was the 119th anniversary of Ford Motor Company. Ford has been an integral part of American history over the past century, and the company’s past is something that’s not only of interest to industry professionals but also to everyday enthusiasts. Because of this, Ford is celebrating its anniversary this year with the release of the Ford Heritage Vault, an online database that houses digitized versions of Ford’s fascinating archival material.

Ford Adds Schools and Courses to ASSET Program

Ford’s premier automotive technician training initiative is called ASSET, or Automotive Student Service Educational Training. Since 1985, over 12,000 students have graduated from this program, and Ford works with 1,800 different Ford and Lincoln dealers and select community colleges and technical schools to maintain the program and train technicians. Ford recently announced that the program will be receiving an update, expanding to more schools and adding important lessons on electric vehicles to the curriculum.
